Focusteck, LLC (“Focusteck“, “we“, “us“) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website, products and services (the “Services“), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It forms part of our Terms of Use.

Focusteck, LLC acts as the data controller for personal data collected through our website and Services. When we process data on behalf of a business customer (for example, inside a product we build or operate for them), we act as a processor, and that customer’s privacy policy applies.

Information you give us, such as:
- Name, email address and phone number
- Company name, job title and location
- Account login details
- Messages and content you send us, including through forms, chat, email or calls
- CV details if you apply for a job
- Payment details, which are handled by our payment processor
Information collected automatically, such as:
- IP address and approximate location
- Browser, device and operating system details
- Pages visited, links clicked, referral source and time on site
- Data from cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6)
Information from others, such as business partners, public sources, or platforms like LinkedIn when you choose to share it with us.

- Create and secure accounts, including verifying your identity with one-time passcodes (OTPs)
- Respond to inquiries and communicate with you

- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
We rely on your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate business interests, or legal requirements as our basis for processing, depending on the purpose.
4. How We Share Your Data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers that help us run the Services, such as cloud hosting, communications and SMS/OTP delivery, email, payment processing, analytics, customer support and AI model providers. They may use your data only to perform services for us and must protect it.
- Affiliates within the Focusteck group, under the same protections as this Policy.
- Legal reasons, when required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect our rights or users, or to prevent fraud.
- Business transfers, such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- With your consent, in any other case.
5. SMS and Phone Number Policy
If you give us your phone number, we use it to send OTPs, account alerts and other messages related to the Services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties, except with the service providers that deliver messages on our behalf.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Make the site work (essential cookies), such as keeping sessions secure and remembering preferences
- Understand usage (analytics cookies), such as which pages are popular, so we can improve the site
- Measure our advertising (marketing cookies) on other platforms where we promote our services

7. How Long We Keep Data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain our business relationship, and meet legal, tax or accounting obligations. Marketing and analytics data about prospects who do not become clients is generally deleted or anonymized within 12 months. When you ask us to delete your data, we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.

We are based in the United States and work with teams and service providers in other countries, including Pakistan. Your data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect transferred data.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, or reply STOP to SMS messages.
11. Children's Privacy
The Services are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Our website may link to other websites and services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with an updated “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you by email or through the Services.
